Online fashion destination Young British Designers (YBD) has partnered with acclaimed Asian luxury shopping destination Landmark to introduce Britain’s best emerging designers to the lucrative Asian market.
The Landmark x Young British Designers collaboration has been developed in recognition of the growing trend for unique new labels to be worn alongside big brand names. It was launched with a dedicated shop at Landmark, Hong Kong, as part of its famed “boutique boulevard” earlier this month and will be ongoing.
YBD has taken a curated edit of its designers to the installation, including collections from the likes of Simeon Farrar, Aries, Florence Bridge, Hose Tights, Rogue Matilda, Lily Kamper, Jam Love London, Longshaw Ward, Helen Steele and Sophie Pittom.
Young British Designers was founded in 2010 with the vision to discover and showcase the very best of emerging British fashion design talent.
Commenting on the collaboration, Debra Hepburn, founding partner of YBD says: “We have been approached by many retail spaces wishing to host YBD within their locations as a halo ‘anti-establishment brand’, but Landmark is the first where we have felt the fit, the passion and the support for our own brand is just right.”
The boutique boulevard showcase represents the first event in a two-year contract between Young British Designers and Landmark.
