Weekday international expansion girl in denim jacket

Swedish denim chain Weekday has opened its first store in London at 226 Regent Street as part of its continued UK and international expansion strategy. A second store is set to be opened in Stratford this autumn, manifesting the brand’s commitment to the UK market further.

In line with its overall aesthetic, the Weekday store is a modern and urban environment with a minimalistic look that uses high-quality natural materials, ambient lighting, and warm finishes to create a casual, inviting atmosphere. The 650 sqm space is an unconventional space spread out over two floors, with a bespoke, updated store experience, working with new and unique elements to respect the signature of the historical building.

“We are very happy to finally be able to announce our expansion into the UK. It has always been on our agenda to open up a store in this great fashion country and especially in the inspiring city of London. We believe in a modern and youthful approach to fashion and we are confident that the UK is a great fit for our offer. We look forward to seeing how our collections are received,” says David Thörewik, managing director.
