Scoop teams up with shopping platforms Villoid and Trouva

The UK’s leading boutique trade show Scoop is teaming up with new online fashion platform Villoid and shopping community Trouva for its a/w 18 edition, which takes place 28 to 30 January at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea.

Villoid is an online fashion and creative style board platform co-founded by Alexa Chung which allows users from all over the world to shop over 4000 established brands and emerging designer labels, as well as enables them to create ‘style boards’ featuring their favourite garments and inspirational images to build their own profile.

Last month Alexa Chung announced Villoid’s new influencer shops, hosted and curated by some of the world’s most stylish women and influencers, including Alexa Chung herself as well as Pixie Geldof, Poppy Delevingne, Gia Coppola, Leith Clark and Anna Z Gray.

Scoop and Villoid unite in their support of emerging talent within the fashion industry, with this initiative constituting the beginning of a long term joint ambition to support young designers, with brands on show at Scoop including the likes of Veda, Milk Tooth LDN and Hades.

“I love the thought that there’s a whole generation of talented kids out there, at universities and art schools. We don’t know who they are yet, but there’s the next Donatella or Coco sitting at a sewing machine right now with bleeding fingertips. Villoid can give them the platform to reach their potential,” says Alexa Chung, co-founder.

Karen Radley, founder of Scoop agrees: “We are very happy to join forces with Alexa Chung’s Villoid at Scoop this season. Offering a platform for young brands is part of our DNA and our partnership with Villoid will give the designers exposure to a new audience, including an important network of buyers and retailers that can make a real difference to a relatively young business.”

The a/w 18 edition of Scoop will also see a new partnership with independent shopping platform Trouva, which allows consumers to shop the UK’s best independent bricks and mortar boutiques all from the same website and has over 350 stores currently listed. Retailers who are visiting the show are invited to an exclusive champagne breakfast on Monday 29 January at the Saatchi Gallery to learn more about the Trouva community and to celebrate this season’s partnership with Scoop.

Scoop offers a diverse mix of British and international labels showing ready-to-wear, accessories, footwear, jewellery, perfumery perfumery in the beautiful setting of the art gallery. For more information, a full brand listing and pre-registration visit Scoop.
