Fashion’s must-visit destination, Scoop, is set to deliver one of its strongest line-ups to date when it returns to the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, London on 28 to 30 January 2018. The boutique trade show is once again attracting a host of new faces who will be making their debut at its a/w 18 edition.
Among this season’s newcomers is Parisian design house Harc, offering luxurious and unique handbags displaying genuine finesse and creative flair. Geometric lines are at the core of each collection, with each style made from high-end leathers chosen in one of the best tanneries in the world and carefully put together by hand by experienced artisans. An arrow, which features across the designs, is key to the identity of the label, as are beautiful details which make it a definite brand to watch.
Hope In Style is a quirky label of fur-based handbags and accessories hailing from Greece. The collection consists of bags, bag charms, belts, fur vests, fur scarves and more, available in an array of on-trend and seasonal colours and a signature aesthetic that is highly original, irresistibly fun and undeniably eye-catching.
Statement jewellery, meanwhile, comes from designer Emily Mortimer, whose stunning pieces, made in her studio in Suffolk, are gaining a growing fanbase. The collection is made in both 14 ct gold and sterling silver and each piece is set with a multitude of different colour semi precious gemstones and diamonds. Whether cuffs, cocktail rings or a pair of earrings, Mortimer’s designs are sure to turn heads.
Fellow jewellery brand Pat’s Vintage Jewelry by Patricia Cobiella specialises in exclusive gold-plated pieces which feature corals, precious stones and mother-of-pearl, as well as a wealth of complementary materials, creating striking and colourful stand-out pieces. Celebrities, influencers, models and royalty have worn Pat’s Vintage Jewelry designs, and the brand is regularly featured in fashion and lifestyle magazines around the world.
With a fanbase that includes The Duchess of Cambridge, no less, it’s no surprise that Alice Bow is going from strength to strength. Founder Rachel Bowditch started a stylish revolution in footwear when she launched her brand of luxurious and comfortable insoles because she was fed up of owning beautiful shoes that she couldn’t walk in. Made of slim but effective padding and topped with gorgeous leather in a stunning range of colours, Alice Bow insoles are sure to complement even the most high-end of heels – and are a must-have accessory for ladies who love their shoes and their feet!
Dalliance and Noble was launched earlier this year by British textile designer James Skinner, who specialises in meticulously hand drawn designs, which are then digitally printed onto the finest silks to create accessories for both fashion and interiors. Produced in the UK, each art work is original and
genuinely unique, featuring botanical illustrations and graphics inspired by flora and fauna. Dalliance and Noble will showcase a stunning range of scarves at Scoop, each displaying an individual design which changes depending on how the wearer choses to position it.
Part of the same group behind cult label Transit par such, Tandem has been a key player in international fashion for two decades. Entirely produced in its native Italy, Tandem is loved for its clean lines, beautiful textures and subtle but effective use of colour, and a/w18 promises to continue in this vein with a collection that embraces effortless elegance and understated cool.
Also arriving from Italy is fabulous ready-to-wear brand Lucille, a super chic yet super quirky collection featuring stand-out prints and bold textures, from velvets and tulle, through lace and silk to crepe and crochet. Glamorous, bohemian and with an edgy touch of romantic punk, this is one collection you seriously can’t afford to miss.
