British womenswear brand Michaela Louisa is setting its sights on growth for s/s 18 following strong sell-through on retail level and a positive uptake of its tweaked collection, showcasing a younger signature.
According to Cos Costi, the brand’s director, feedback from retailers to the modernised direction of the brand has been overwhelmingly positive, with initial projections for s/s 18 orders promising.
“We have remodelled our collections and have implemented a host of new design ideas that have moved on the brand without losing our core DNA and what our customers love. There are new design themes and a younger feel. We are a bit more modern, but still true to what Michaela Louisa stands for. We’ve had such a positive reaction from existing customers to our new s/s 18 brochure, so based on that, we are hopeful to have a successful season,” he says. “Our stockists have also told us that sell-throughs of the s/s 17 collection in-stores have been really strong, which is also very encouraging in the current climate,” he adds.
The s/s 18 collection of Michaela Louisa offers a host of day to occasion dresses and related separates, with vibrant colours and prints key. The collection will be on show at Moda Woman 6 to 8 August at the NEC.
