Irish contemporary cashmere and tweed brand Triona has made its market debut for s/s 18, launching with a 14-piece collection of outwear, casualwear and tailoring.
The range has been crafted by hand in Triona’s very own mills in Donegal, from a variety of locally sourced signature fabrics including tweeds, wools and linens. The aesthetic is inspired by the mill’s surroundings and the brand’s rich Irish heritage, with a strong feminine handwriting that combines signature fabrics with classic contemporary shapes.
Key pieces include a Tweed double breasted blazer and culottes, a dusty blue-belted Tweed coat and a button-back top with paper bag trousers, made from 100 per cent crisp linen that features a marble finish and subtle delicate texture. Each piece is expertly finished, with the finest linings and bindings, whilst every fabric is woven locally in the traditional way.
The company Triona has been in existence for over 30 years, producing its own infamous Donegal Tweed in the heart of Ireland and remains a family business.
