Last week’s launch of the womenswear edit at trade show Jacket Required got off to a cracking first season, with brands and buyers praising the organic and seamless integration of women’s collection into the overall mix. WWB was out and about to pick the best bits.

+10
Quirky socks and hosiery came from +10, which offered an array of funky colourways and material mixes, skilfully turning an accessory into a statement.

Alpha Industries
Bomber jackets are at the heart of Alpha Industries, and its women’s range didn’t disappoint anyone seeking cool and relaxed styles from pinks through khakis to statement graphics.

Cuisse de Grenouille
Originally a surfwear brand, Cuisse de Grenouille offered a full lifestyle collection which impressed with the high-quality fabrics used and the timeless and yet on-trend styles that suit the beach as much as relaxing in the city.

Dickies
We loved the cool and understated dungarees, which were among the highlight pieces of the range, alongside lumberjack shirts and relaxed rain jackets, all of which ticked our boxes in a big way.

Helly Hansen
The brand is celebrating its 140th anniversary this season with a collection that focused on the core DNA of the brand – water absorbent and high performance fabrics – with contemporary, minimalist and functional silhouettes that are timeless and yet super on trend.

Ice Play
A sports and streetwear brand with a difference, Ice Play’s designs were bold and unconventional, oozing laid-back cool and individual style.

Notable Designs
An irresistible line of skincare, beauty, homeware products as well as stationary came from Notable Designs – a perfect addition to any lifestyle store.

Toms
Ethical brand Toms presented its latest collection of colourful footwear and accessories, with its signature canvas loafers still among the key pieces and definite highlights.

Volcom
Presenting its main collection as well as its Georgia May Jagger collaboration, Volcom’s sportswear styles impressed with on-trend shapes, eye-catching prints and graphics.

Wrangler
The denim brand, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, showed off – among other things – its homage to artist Peter Max. We loved this pink denim jacket which just screams summer, fun and fashion.
