Premium corduroy only brand The Cords & Co is celebrating ‘Corduroy Appreciation Day’ on 11 November by giving its customers brand new cords in exchange for their old denims.
During the day, the brand will give its first 100 customers in each flagship store the opportunity to trade in their old denims for a pair of free new cords. Customers who are not located close to one of the brand’s stores can also take part in the celebration online, where a special corduroy gift will be included with every purchase on the brand’s website during that day.
“The Cords & Co’s mission is to define corduroy as the alternative to denim, so it felt natural for us to give customers a possibility to trade in their old denim jeans for a new pair of cords. We are the world’s first corduroy brand, so we wanted to present our customers with something special to mark the occasion,” says Omar Varts, CEO.
The Cords & Co was launched on 24 August and since then the brand has opened five flagship stores in five fashion capitals worldwide, including Paris, London, Stockholm, Los Angeles as well as a global online shop and collaborated with wholesale partners in nearly 20 markets. The brand will also be exhibiting its wholesale collection at the next edition of premium trade show Jacket Required.
