The AW18 edition of boutique trade show Scoop is opening its doors at the Saatchi Gallery in London this weekend, and with a line-up of 250 exclusive and carefully curated brands, the show once again delivers an unbeatable mix of niche designers, up and coming labels and international names across ready-to-wear, accessories, footwear, perfumery and lifestyle products.
WWB picks six of the brands to watch at this season’s show:
Italian brand Cheville (above) offers fine footwear with inspiration taken from vintage and retro styles, but with a contemporary twist. The brand is 100 per cent made in Italy, using the finest leathers and materials to create a quirky collection that stands out.
Hailing from Spain, Designers Society is a young and creative designer collective based on the principle that when you bring different creative minds together you get something inspiring. The design team often collaborate with creatives in different disciplines, such as graphic designers, product designers, bloggers or photographers, with each garment telling a unique story.
Inspired by art, French handbag label Louvreuse is made in France from the finest materials. Its aesthetic is based on timeless Parisian elegance, providing a modern take on leather goods with pure lines and practical designs with a twist.
Spanish brand Loreak is an independent global brand that was founded in 1995. Its core philosophy is based on utility rather than showiness, with authentic, clear-cut clothes at the core. The brand’s three main pillars are landscape, manufacture and culture, which influence each collection. Expect to find functional clothes with an understated edge and distinct style.
